Kids, don’t attempt this at home! Machine Gun Kelly talked about slamming a champagne flute into his forehead during a performance after-party in New York City during his appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
The phrase “bloody valentine” just become “bloody hurt” for Machine Gun Kelly.

On June 28, the musician decided to toast himself with a glass of champagne at an after-party after giving a performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City as part of his Mainstream Sellout Tour. But rather than lifting his glass in toast, MGK slammed the flute into his forehead while yelling, “Bro, I don’t give an s—t.” His face quickly began to stream with blood.

You know how you can attract people’s attention by clanging a champagne glass with a fork? On the Late Night With Seth Meyers show on June 29, Machine Gun Kelly said. Yeah, I just clinked it on my skull because I didn’t have a fork.
F—k it, the musician wrote on Instagram as he started performing his hit song “my ex’s best buddy.” Machine Gun Kelly really posted video of the disturbing occurrence as it was happening to his 9.6 million Instagram followers, stating, “And this is when things turned…” Additionally, he posted a close-up of the injuries and wrote, “Gross.”

Machine Gun Kelly will remember his trip to New York City for more reasons than only the incident, though. In addition to performing a sold-out event at MSG, he also got to climb to the top of the Empire State Building and light up the skyscraper pink in honour of his new documentary Life in Pink. Thank God I didn’t have a champagne glass up there, he said in jest to Seth Meyers.
The late-night host then remarked that the “Emo Girl” star had last been on his program shortly after cutting his hand at the 2021 MTV VMAs while breaking his instrument. When Seth Meyers was on the schedule, Machine Gun Kelly joked, “Yeah, I’m going to start having physicians surrounding me every time.”
