It’s official: Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey are calling it quits after three years of dating.
Sources tell PEOPLE that the 35-year-old A Journal for Jordan star and Harvey, 25, have ended their relationship after a year and a half of dating.

Their first red carpet appearance was at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills on March 27. For a screening of Final Cut (Coupez!), Harvey attended the Cannes Film Festival on May 17 and walked the red carpet alone. After she returned from France, rumors of friction between the two began to circulate.
In November, months after Jordan made their love official on Instagram, the two celebrated their one-year anniversary.
In his relationship with Harvey, he said to The Hollywood Reporter in December that he had “finally found what love was.” This is why the Black Panther star felt comfortable discussing his private life in public: “Being pulled apart and having to consider what the other person is going through is something I couldn’t have managed when I was younger. To deal with that, you need a unique kind of individual.”
He said at the time that they seemed “real enough” to talk about freely.
“Staying out of the public eye is often planned in advance, which can kill spontaneity and closeness. Jordan told PEOPLE in April 2021 why he was going public with his love life for the first time.
“I’m still private, and I want to keep it that way,” he said at the time, “but I just wanted to get it out there and move on.” “I feel very happy. Lori, who is the daughter of Steve Harvey, told The Real in September about her relationship with Jordan.

When asked what Jordan had done for her that was the sexiest or sweetest, Lori said, “He’s really good at all the big things.” She told him, “Valentine’s Day, birthdays, and all that are nice, but I think what makes him special are the little, everyday things, like how he just listens to me when I talk. Even just the other day, I was talking about how much I wanted to go to a farmer’s market, so he called me one Sunday morning and said, “What are you doing? I’m going to come to pick you up.” He drove me an hour away to a really cute farmer’s market, and we had the best day. So, these kinds of things.”
