The Flash Movie Star Ezra Miller Reportedly Arrested In Hawaii
An arrest for disorderly conduct and harassment has been made against Ezra Miller, better known as the DCEU’s Barry Allen, or The Flash, in Hawaii.
Ezra Miller, star of the next Flash film, was reportedly detained in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and harassment. As Grant Gustin portrays the TV version on The CW, Miller has been cast as the film version of The Flash. Delays plagued the film’s production, which was first announced in 2014. There’s a fresh controversy swirling around the DCEU celebrity who is playing the Scarlet Speedster because of Miller’s long association with the role.
Miller has gotten itself into trouble in the past, and this isn’t the first time. A video depicting Miller choking a young woman in Reykjavik, Iceland, will be released in April 2020. However, despite its limited length, Miller was clearly seen grabbing the woman’s throat and bringing her to the ground. After the video’s release, Miller was never investigated by law enforcement. Just over a year after the 2020 incident, Miller has been embroiled in a new issue.
According to Hawaii News Now, Miller was arrested and charged by authorities at a Karaoke bar in the state. TheWrap was able to establish with the local police that the 29-year-old actor in question was, in fact, the one mentioned by Hawaii News Now. “Yelling obscenities and at one time seized the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing Karaoke…and subsequently lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts,” according to their report. According to the police in the area, Miller posted $500 bond and has been freed from custody, reports.
In the meantime, Warner Bros. and Miller’s agents haven’t said anything about the actor being arrested in Hilo, Hawaii. There is no way of knowing if Miller’s engagement in his Warner Bros. responsibilities will be impacted by this development or not. In addition to his role as Credence Barebone/Aurelius Dumbledore in the Fantastic Beasts films, Miller will appear in The Flash and the bigger DCEU series. Dumbledore: Secrets of the Dumbledore, a sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, will be released in April.
There have been no comments from Miller since their release on Instagram, which he joined in late 2021. It’s also unclear if any of the Karaoke bar’s implicated parties will speak to the media following the events of last weekend. As the world waits for further information regarding the Hawaii event, it’s impossible to know what the future holds for The Flash actor.
